Just brought to my attention from Duncan Black's Brain Trust

"that tireless little monitor of little matters and misser of enormous ones, Simps, missed something that I didn't notice till this morning, that I reversed the nouns in Gore Vidal's most widely known dirty novel, "The City and the Pillar,"
Mea culpa, Sparkles. But the day you scrambled Vidal, I was too busy making fun of you for getting the title of Jimmy Cliff's THE HARDER THEY COME wrong, thus proving you know less than dick about reggae.

      1. For someone who claims to despise Eschaton, you seem to spend a lot of time trolling there.

        1. For someone who claims to not be Simels you spend a lot of time trolling here. Considering your "buddy" who works hand in sock with you is my most persistent troll, your comment is especially stupid. But, then, that's you guys.

Someone told me someone said something remarkably stupid about me at Eschaton and sent me a link. It was incredibly stupid as I have been a total and complete critic of Susan Collins from the time I was telling idiots at Eschaton that she was a fraud.

      2. I'm old enough to remember when that blog had conversations worth engaging.

What a bunch of losers they are. The reason I don't believe Simels' name dropping is that I can't believe someone can be that big an ass on line, and be friends with seemingly decent people.

        1. I don't really remember much about "JeffCo" except that I thought he was an ass, that was back as the adults were fleeing Eschaton in droves. I'll admit I stayed a lot longer than I should have, with long stretches away, especially during the election season in 2008 when I couldn't stand the sexism of the Obama blog boys. If Simps didn't have the habit of misrepresenting what I said there daily I doubt I'd mention it any more than the other blogs I used to frequent, some of which stopped before they could get to the level of stupidity that Eschaton has.

        2. I stayed there way too long, but what a sandbox it is now. And the people who started that trend are still there. That's all I need to know to stay away.

        3. There are about three people who go there who I have any respect for, I used to figure people get to choose their own vices. Several years back when Simps was slandering me I looked up something on the archives, the same people are saying exactly the same things, in largely the same words that they were saying ten years ago. I remember a long time ago it reminded me of one of Anne Sexton's Angels of The Love Affair poems, "Your voice is out there, your voice is strange, there are no prayers here, here there is no change." And I have to say, I don't think of Anne Sexton all that much anymore.
