These are two of the last pieces Aaron Copland composed, 1971 an 1973, respectively. Considering the occasion of their composition perhaps All Saint's Day is a good day to post them.
I will admit I'd never heard them before indulging in this series which has been a pure pleasure and it's almost through unless I choose to post all of his works. I will entertain encouragement to do that.
