no idea what it means but I have never, ever in more than a half a century of voting, ever seen a busier voting day in an off-year election. It might have been busier than any presidential election I recall.
I was looking at those of us standing in line and I thought, you can't really tell how someone is voting by how they look, wondering if people saw me as an old, white-haired guy with glasses and figured me for a Republican-fascist.
Then a young person walked up wearing an "Eat The Rich" shirt and I figured that was someone I was fairly confident in thinking wasn't a Republican voter.
Maybe it was an omen.
