What Hawk says about James Carville saying he'd rather have Republicans keep control of the house instead of DSA members having some influence on policy. That is despite DEMOCRATS, members of the party he allegedly is a member of, voting for them.
He reminds me of his fellow campaign consultant, I believe it was Bob Shrum, who I recall hearing on a TV talk show talking about the "strategic advantage" in losing elections. Which, considering how many losing campaigns he worked for (NO ONE SHOULD GET MORE THAN ONE OF THOSE BEFORE THEY ARE NEVER HIRED AGAIN) you can imagine him coming up with such a stupid idea.
ANY FORMERLY DEMOCRATIC CAMPAIGN CONSULTANT WHO ADVOCATES REPUBLICANS WINNING CONTROL OF ANY BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT SHOULD BE HELD TO HAVE ENDED THEIR CREDIBILITY AS A DEMOCRAT FROM THEN ON. There should never be any coming back from that. Especially after Trump I and Trump II. Carville is a Republican tool.
