NPR has essentially the same relationship with Republican-corporate-fascism as a piss-stained mattress in Moscow does.
The reason I listen to them is because the state news that is broadcast during Morning Edition is the least bad broadcast state news in Maine and that is as pathetic as you might suspect it is. Bad as Gratz is, the stuff on every other source I've tried is worse. Republicans control the media in my state, which is why so many Mainers have been such suckers for Susan Collins' Two-faced Two Step of Obvious Hypocrisy.
