Hate Mail

I take back what I said about Eschaton being like jr. high, it's more like the third grade playground.  I have weeds in my garden that are more creative.   And more interesting.

  1. Can I just say, between you and me, that Tayler's newest rant (I only read a paragraph or two, then skimmed it) has to be the dumbest thing committed to pixels in a long time?

It's funny enough he thought that mock article could be serious; or that he thought it was somehow a good lead in to his screed. But then commenters take it seriously, and then take him seriously, when he's as ignorant as a new born about anything and everything.

Still, he favors their ignorance, so they worship him the way the GOP base is worshipping Donald Trump. In fact, the parallel is on all fours: the same people who denounce the supporters of Trump, support someone just as bombastic and ignorant.

Quelle surprise, huh? My favorite comment was the regular who said she knew a lot of Jesuits, and most of them were atheists or didn't know yet they were atheists. To her, a believer is a Bible-thumping Holy Roller. Anything less is an atheist, no matter what they say.

How you gonna deal with people like that? Laughter is indeed the best medicine.

And Jeffery Tayler is as dumb as a box of rocks.

    1. The funniest thing is that atheists believe themselves and are believed to be and are to be believed to be intellectuals. It took me reading atheists, low and high, to realize that it was more likely to be associated with extreme ignorance and the total failure of the ideal of a liberal education (extreme narrowing of focus) than with having either an idea of what the atheist was talking about or caring about knowing what they were talking about.

Neo atheism is a lot more like being a devoted FOX viewer or ditto head than any of them would like to believe possible. Look at Duncan's Brain Trust, exhibiting the brainlessness of the brain-only school of vestigial thought,
