Good luck finding anyone in the media or in politics who isn't an actual adulterer.
I'm not going to wait for Graham Platner to make us in Maine giving a giant FUCK YOU! to the mainstream media a plus for his campaign, I'm going to leave no opportunity to push that as one of the things we can accomplish by voting him into the Senate by a landslide. So much of “political commentary “ and reporting on politics is just regurgitating received “wisdom” (which is anything but). I don’t give a shit about Platner’s personal life because he’s not a convicted felon or been held civilly liable for rape or fraud. And hell, Rick Scott is in the Senate,,having committed the largest Medicare fraud in history. And McConnell is an unreconstructed racist. So give me a break. What is his platform, what does he say he’s going to do? Best I can tell, like Talarico, Platner wants to flip some tables. And that seems to worry the right people. Good enough for me.
ReplyDeleteThough I'm sure it's no where near as lucrative, a lot of those dumped by the cabloids and networks going indy on Youtube and other online venues seem to be doing some of the best work of their lives. Who knew that Don Lemon was actually capable of committing journalism while he was on the cabloids?
