This is a shamrock

This is a 4-leaf clover*

* Also called a "shamrock" by people who don't know what a shamrock is.  It would have been rather puzzling to those pagans if St. Patrick held up a 4-leaf clover to explain the Holy Trinity to them.

  1. "the materialist rejection of the classical definition of mind-body
dualism is based in a naive, self-serving and irrational and deficient
analysis of the problem. I find a lot of atheist argument rests in the
self-serving creation of a deficient definition for the entities they
want to make go away. It would seem to be a defining habit of atheism."

Fuck you, asshole. Somebody I love is dying way too young of a disease your fucking non-existent made up God is responsible for by your lights. You're a contemptible feelingless piece of shit.

    1. And you figure that it's the fault of God who you don't believe exists. Yeah, that makes sense. Not to mention it's a self-serving assertion on your part, not even an argument since it doesn't begin to cohere.

You come here saying something like that, I'm going to give it to you straight, Simps.

  2. Wow. Way to argue, Mr. Compassion.

    1. You came to my blog looking for a fight, Simps. All I did was point out your angry boy act made no sense. If you didn't want to be told that you shouldn't have bothered.

As it is, you're such a liar I have no reason to believe your scenario is even real.

  3. You're right, shithead. It's God's fault for not existing, and I'm plenty sore about it.

    1. I'm wondering if anyone has come up with a label for your particular type of non-argument based on misrepresenting everything that is said. I know that misrepresenting the arguments of your opponents is a tactic for wasting time in a debate but it's pretty stupid when you do it on someone's blog and they control the amount of time and effort they want to put in showing what a liar you are. But you're so pathological that you misrepresent your own arguments as well.

I don't believe anything you've said in this exchange, I think you made it up just as I know you've made up so much in the past. You are the boy who called wolf, then called lion, then called ever more ridiculous and improbable things as you have had no ability to argue in a straight line because you are a lazy idiot.

Oh sure -- because if you DID actually believe a dear friend of mine is dying that would totally make a difference to your contemptible lack of empathy.

Go go blow it out your ass, McCarthy. Now I'm gonna go to an Irish bar and buy everybody there more beer than they can physically handle.

    1. You think I owe you empathy? Why? Because of your lies and insults? Especially the lies. I owe you my skepticism because you are a shameless and pathological liar. You've earned it.

  5. By the way -- "quoting you verbatim" is a very odd definition of lying.

    1. Even your example asserting that's what I was referring to is an example of your pathological lying.

I've experienced your lying first hand for more than five years, Simps. I don't believe a word you say, I don't even believe the punctuation.

Or to learn about appropriate spaces to vent one's emotions, whether real or fabricated.

    1. I think it's more that he craves the attention he doesn't get at Duncan Black's blog or just more attention than they can give him. It's so sad when someone reaches senescence without having developed emotionally past the age of three. That is when it's not merely bothersome.

As it is, he has given me more than ample reason to not believe a word he says.
