Keith Olbermann Hits The Bullseye Again

I HAD A VAGUE NOTION of what "God" means to those most promiscuous of "God" sayers and most obvious worshipers of Mammon for a number of years.  It's clear that when they say "God" they don't mean what Jesus meant when he said "God."   And I'm pretty sure it's even more so among them when they say "Jesus"  for Trump,  for the white "evangelicals" for the "trad-catholics" those are brand names.  NOTHING MORE THAN BRAND NAMES.  I may have said that "Jesus" was no more than a slogan before but it's really more commercial than that, it's a brand name.   It's how they can push a side-line called "christian nationalism" when any such thing is clearly and obviously contrary to the Gospel of Jesus who said his kingdom was not of this world and whose moral teachings are entirely incompatible with such ideas.  Even the idea of "Christian Democracy" as in "Christian Democratic Party" is a total violation of Christianity which is how so many of the entities named that are, actually,  anti-Christian fascist parties.  Maybe someday I'll go into the 1914 Conclave and the part played by the Emperor of Austria again,  but current events are pressing. 

Keith Olbermann nailed that truth this in this morning's podcast.   I want to repeat myself that those who try to actually follow the Gospel of Jesus, the Epistles, need to have a knock down, drag out fight with the "evangelical" and "pentacostalist" heresies and the "christo-fascism" that they lead to.   We can't allow the ghost of the various allegedly religious wars of the 16th and 17th centuries and the absurd notion that the formal secularism that only properly applies to the government on the federal, state and local levels MAKES IT IMPOLITE TO CALL OUT "christo-fascism" and the religious heresies that lead to it.   I will point out that allegedly religious TV programming and, still, radio programming and the big internet "ministries" is a major part of the spread of this Mammon worship and what fills the role of the Antichrist better than any previous candidates for that role.
