so I'll leave it at I'll never think of Toby Keith without thinking of the pro-lynching song he sang at Trump's inauguration non-star concert. I agree with Natalie Maines' shirt. What happens to him now isn't my responsibility.
Update: I wonder why when someone like that dies, they say he's a country music legend, or he's a show-biz legend. Legends are make believe, I'd rather be remembered for reality not PR bull shit.
"Legends are make believe."
ReplyDeleteYou're not real big on metaphor, are you, Sparky.
Oh well, don't worry -- it's not like you're gonna be remembered for anything, let alone being called a legend. Well, okay -- "legendary prig nitwit" has a nice ring to it.
So, you're a TK fanboy, right?
DeleteI am entirely indifferent to whether or not anyone remembers me but those who know me and I think I'll get over it if they don't remember me, either.
Oh, and explain to me how that use of "legendary" is a "metaphor." As I recall I've corrected you on that use of "metaphor" before probably for at least the fourth time. Your career as a writer is as impressive as Eric Trump's as a "builder."
