Two Comments - The Tragic Results of Using TV As A Babysitter

  1. "North will always be a never-revived composer of Hollywood crap."

So your argument is that North sucks because he's not Beethoven.

Get back to me when Beethoven wrote something this brilliant that was synched to something as fabulous as this visual montage.

    1. Steve Simels, Music Critic believes the opening sequence for Spartacus is a greater musical achievement than Beethoven's Fidelio.

  1. You're so right, Sparkles. Everyone who's ever seen a staging of FIDELIO comes away going "great visuals."

BTW, North's score for SPARTACUS is brilliant throughout, not just during the credits. The famous duel scene between Kirk Douglas and Woody Strode is practically a concerto for gladiators and orchestra.

    1. You are an example of someone made mentally defective through watching too much TV and too many movies.

As to the gladiator scene, I'd rather you jerk off someplace else. Duncan doesn't seem to mind you using his blog for that purpose. I haven't decided to cut you off entirely or not but you're making me feel like I'm exploiting the retarded by using you the way I have.
