Dusan Bogdanovic - Mysterious Habitats for Guitar

I believe it's the composer playing.

This reminds me a lot of some of the French variations over a ground, chaconnes, passacaglias,  from the baroque period.  Only it's definitely Bogdanovic's style.  He, Leo Brouwer, Atanas Ourkouzounov, it's one of the most important periods of guitar composition going on right now.

  1. Very nice. However, I liked it better in 1967 when it was "So You Want to Be a Rock 'N' Roll Star" by the Byrds.

    1. So, now the guy you said was a dry as dust academic composer is copying The Byrds?

That only shows your musical ignorance as it's clear his inspiration was the baroque variation forms I mentioned. Maybe The Byrds knew them, too. But, you really don't get how time works so maybe you think the dopey rock guys came first.

Considering your adoration of the white guys who rip off black musicians to make jillions off of the work of others, it's hilarious that you would accuse one of the most original composers in the history of the guitar of cribbing.
