I will have more to say about the man who set off the smear, the white-supremacist, neo-eugenicist Nathan Cofnas, who will never have the kind of mass media scrutiny that he focused on a Black academic, even though he is clearly a white supremacist, racist who has the support of many other white supremacists and eugenicists in academia, Pinker, Singer, etc. and the massively racist English language corporate media. I will bet that, though he was fired from his most recent academic position in Belgium that Cofnas will have no problem finding another one, probably in an American university with some tech or extraction industry billionaire financing it. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if the Ellises aren't in that process right now.
This is what "free press-speech absolutism" brings. The media that is freed to lie with impunity are not the friends of equality, democracy and justice. They are the enemy of all of those.

The Harvard psychologist and bestselling author Steven Pinker appeared on the podcast of Aporia, an outlet whose owners advocate for a revival of race science and have spoken of seeking “legitimation by association” by platforming more mainstream figures.
The appearance underlines past incidents in which Pinker has encountered criticism for his association with advocates of so-called “human biodiversity”, which other academics have called a “rebranding” of racial genetic essentialism and scientific racism.
Pinker’s appearance marks another milestone in the efforts of many in Silicon Valley and rightwing media and at the fringes of science to rehabilitate previously discredited models of a biologically determined racial hierarchy.
Patrik Hermansson, a researcher at UK anti-racism non-profit Hope Not Hate, said that Pinker’s “decision to appear on Aporia, a far-right platform for scientific racism, provides an invaluable service to an extremist outlet by legitimising its content and attracting new followers”.
He added: “By lending his Harvard credentials to Aporia, Pinker contributes to the normalisation and spread of dangerous, discredited ideas.”
And while we're at it. Though I left out a word in the original post, "eugenicists" right before my naming of Pinker and Singer, it is beyond doubt that Singer is a eugenicist. A eugenicist of the kind who actually advocates killing those he deems undeserving of life.
Given the history of eugenics, I'm not willing to pretend that ANY advocacy of eugenics can be separated from white supremacy, Aryan supremacy, . . . right down to the kind of Zionism that pooh-poohs the current campaigns of genocide being carried out. Pretending that once they start killing they're going to stop short of those is one of those "Big Lies" you're always hearing people talk about.
Cofnas is the kind of overt eugenicist who is OK with it so long as no one includes "his people" in their target list. He does hypocritically what I have done non-hypocritically, slammed Kevin MacDonald for his scientific racism focused on Jews. I don't have a list of those who are to be excluded for such a list BECAUSE I AM OPPOSED TO ANY AND ALL SUCH LISTS BECAUSE THE BASIS OF EUGENICS IS EVIL AND THE "SCIENCE" IT IS BASED ON IS PSEUDO-SCIENCE. And by that I mean the theory of natural selection. Eugenics, scientific racism and lists of who it's OK to kill will always spring from a belief in natural selection. That's the history of the ideology.
