Hell's Bells, How Stupid Can You Get And Still Be In The "Brain Trust"?

Queens is the easternmost and largest in area of the five boroughs of New York City, geographically adjacent to the borough of Brooklyn at the western end of Long Island.

From the website of the State of New York, which, by the way, makes the same disputed claim that Queens is the most ethnically diverse urban area in the world, something which according to what I read, is far from universally agreed to, outside of New York, apparently.

But the reason I posted the comment is to show that Queens being a subset of New York City isn't a matter of dispute, it's a matter of fact.  Which leads me to the reason I'm posting this.  It's from this comment made minutes ago by one of the members in . . standing, shall we say of the "Eschaton Brain Trust" (as they say).

"Atheism is an ephiphenomenon[sic] of arrogance mixed with a really crappy preparation in logical thinking"

Says the guy who doesn't understand how the boro of Queens can be more diverse than New York City as a whole.

It's another scorcher of a day here, Trump and such pieces of shit as Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski are going to put the fascist who will give him a carte blanche to sell the country to the Putin Crime Regime on the Supreme Court, etc. Why don't you give me a good laugh and explain to me how Queens can be more diverse than the New York City it is a part of. Go ahead, use algebra to do it. Explain how you get there.  Use a Venn diagram.   Maybe your fellow "Brain Trusters" can give you a boost.   Duncan should be able to do it, he's got a PhD in Economics from Brown, you know, Economics, the science where they can make things appear and disappear at the drop of a derivative.

As I said last week, just when I conclude that you couldn't possibly be a stupid as I think, you say something like the above and thus prove you don't have the brains god gave the common icecube.

    1. You know, Simps, until this morning I thought I was dealing with a conceited idiot who was an idiot by choice, now I'm beginning to think you were always just naturally stupid. And with that comes supporting evidence in my suspicions about the arrogance of the rump remnant Eschaton community that you're a member in good standing with, that it's a lot less smart than supports their conceit.

You are entirely stupid if you can't see the problem with your claim. I'm going to have to decide if it's immoral to keep making fun of you. Fun though I admit it's been, it becomes distasteful if you really are as stupid as I assumed you volunteered to be.

  2. You're not just digging a hole, you're digging one all the way to China.

Obviously, your best friends won't tell you, because you don't have any.

    1. So, you're not going to take up the challenge to prove mathematically or logically or anything other than pulling it out of your neither regions that Queens is more diverse than New York City. If I asked why that surprises me it would be disingenuous.

So, have you floated your claim over at the "Brain Trust"? Or are you too chicken to put it to the test of Trust? I suspect that at least Derbes or Gromit or Echidne could tell you you're as full of shit as you are and a few of the others would know but that some of them would be as in the dark as you "enlightened" snobs love to believe yourselves to be.

  3. Do you genuinely not understand how sub-sets work, or is this some kind of Sparky performance art?

    1. Well, here's a clue, Stupy, a subset has as one of its elements, itself. But a subset which doesn't contain all of the elements of the universal set it's an element of can't contain the other subsets of the set and it can't contain the universal set as a subset. Queens can't contain the subset Brooklyn, or the Bronx or any of the other boroughs.

You really do just rearrange words depending on the mutual ignorance of those who read them to get by with not knowing what they mean. Geesh, talk about digging holes as you stand in them.

  4. "Queens can't contain the subset Brooklyn, or the Bronx or any of the other boroughs."

And this prevents Queens from being, percentage-wise, more diverse than the entirety of NYC percentage-wise exactly how?

    Bueller? Bueller?

    1. Being "more diverse" is a matter of having more diversity than something else, it's not a question of percentage, it's a question of how many different entities are contained in what you're claiming is more diverse. Possibly, in terms of ethnicity, Queens could be exactly as diverse as New York City, but it couldn't possibly be more diverse than New York City because the number of ethnicites contained in Queens is also contained in the universal set in question, New York City. And all it would take is one ethnicity to be present in another of the boroughs of New York City which isn't present in Queens to make New York City more diverse than Queens. Since I suspect one of your little buddies at Eschaton is helping you come up with attempts at arguments, maybe your girlfriend, it wouldn't matter if Queens had one or ten or a hundred ethnicities that none of the other boroughs had in them because that's not the claim you made, you made the claim that New York City was less diverse than one of the boroughs inside of it.

  5. "you made the claim that New York City was less diverse than one of the boroughs inside of it."

Which it self-evidently is, you cretinous moron.

Actually, you're probably clinically insane as well, because only such a person could claim what you're claiming.

  6. BTW, Queens isn't a subset of anything. It is a distinct geographical entity.

    1. I'd say "that's the problem, you don't know what a subset is" only I think it's more serious than that.

I do hope at least one of your buds at Dunc's is reading this because you have reached depths of stupidity that I have to admit I didn't suspect you could achieve.

The set of all boroughs of New York City = {Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, Manhattan, Staten Island} Go ask Derbes if that doesn't prove Queens is a subset of New York City. Or Gromit. Maybe even Tlaz knows that much about 9th grade Algebra to confirm that point. Hey, maybe even Skepsy or one of the other alleged sci-guys at Duncan's could tell you that.

I'm done with you, your stupidity is a manifestation of a native disability and I don't make fun of people who are stupid involuntarily. I might, however, post a link to this thread as I feel it necessary when you lie about this.

    1. Now you're just going to your old stand by habit of lying, as I pointed out the other day. I never made such a claim, nor would I without evidence, though that won't keep you from claiming that's what I said instead of something you cooked up in your twisted imagination and the "Brain Trusters" at Eschaton will eat it up because none of you care about what's true and false but only in what you like.

You're not smart. But that's not your biggest problem. Your biggest problem is that you're a dishonest jerk. That I don't mind telling someone who is as stupid as you demonstrated you are, here today.

  8. "I never made such a claim, nor would I without evidence"

Given that the chances of such evidence ever existing are between slim and zilch, that's truly brave of you, Sparkles. :-)
