"It seems to me that to organize on the basis of feeding people or righting social injustice and all that is very valuable. But to rally people around the idea of modernism, modernity, or something is simply silly. I mean, I don't know what kind of a cause that is, to be up to date. I think it ultimately leads to fashion and snobbery and I'm against it."

Not The White House Correspondents' Dinner, Pt. 3: What Is Facts
"How far under the bus should Democrats throw women and people of color?" Ay caramba, indeed.
Nothing worse that trying to salve the pricks of white guilt like embracing identity politics with both arms and then blaming those who find them exclusionary and cosmetic as being part of the problem.
If you think that that's not true, diss Lenny Bruce or George Carlin or Jerry Seinfeld or whoever. Their fans will seriously object in the most serious way. In fact, if you point out that comedy won't prevent or depose Hitler or Stalin or Donald Trump they get upset like some others will when you point out that Dawkins' first bird to call out fable is incoherent and counter-productive for the purpose he invented it for.
