"It seems to me that to organize on the basis of feeding people or righting social injustice and all that is very valuable. But to rally people around the idea of modernism, modernity, or something is simply silly. I mean, I don't know what kind of a cause that is, to be up to date. I think it ultimately leads to fashion and snobbery and I'm against it." Jack Levine: January 3, 1915 – November 8, 2010 LEVEL BILLIONAIRES OUT OF EXISTENCE

Last Dead Letter
What is said at Eschaton stays at Eschaton and doesn't travel far beyond that. And it's not even important even there. It's a cul-de-sac where codgers talk smack. Only it doesn't work on anyone who doesn't care and once you realize it doesn't matter outside of that small club you don't care. I don't get the feeling that the former regulars there who found my reactions to it amusing in the past are really interested in it. So I'm dropping it.
